A few weekends ago (6/11) we took Sam to the deCordova Museum. We went to see the Andy Goldsworthy installation, but we were about 6 months too early as the plan is for basically a large snowball inside a hut built into the side of the hill by Flint Pond. No matter we had a great time at the museum and Sam loved running around outside in the sculpture park and terrace.

Things not typically heard during a party
"Did she just loose her bowels?"
yeah - and how is one to respond to that one? I heard this at a gathering and was stumped as to my next remark. (And just so you know - she didn't.)

Passwords
One of the funniest things I have ever heard about marital relationships is:
My husband cannot divorce me, he does not know the passwords :)

You know you have a lot of kids when
...the screws and nails in your work bench/shop area are all housed and organized in baby food jars.
I remember always spending a good amount of time playing around in my grandparents basement in Saugus. Besides the very old school pram that we used to race around in a circle, avoiding the random square hole that I think was close to the water heater - it seemed dark and endless - my grandfather had a really neat work bench area and tool shop. We used to play with the red vice that kind of hung off the bench and Pappy had (and I am sure still has ;) all his screws and nails organized in little glass baby food jars. I imagine this is the product of having 8 kids along the way and a lot of little bits to keep safe.

On the Verge of Maternity
The place (or more accuratly the pant size) you are in during your first trimester, and also in the last trimester before you get pregnant again - it is a cyclical cycle ;)
