You know you have a lot of kids when
...the screws and nails in your work bench/shop area are all housed and organized in baby food jars.
I remember always spending a good amount of time playing around in my grandparents basement in Saugus. Besides the very old school pram that we used to race around in a circle, avoiding the random square hole that I think was close to the water heater - it seemed dark and endless - my grandfather had a really neat work bench area and tool shop. We used to play with the red vice that kind of hung off the bench and Pappy had (and I am sure still has ;) all his screws and nails organized in little glass baby food jars. I imagine this is the product of having 8 kids along the way and a lot of little bits to keep safe.

On the Verge of Maternity
The place (or more accuratly the pant size) you are in during your first trimester, and also in the last trimester before you get pregnant again - it is a cyclical cycle ;)
The Karma Kup
When you put change or money you put into a tip jar not because you are in awe of the service, but more because you want to make their day better.
